But medication safety is not a yes/no question. It is a clinical assessment.
Our caregivers are trained to observe for:
- Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia indicators)
- Medication refusal rooted in cognitive changes
- Side effect emergence (dizziness, GI distress, sedation)
- Pill organizer errors
We do not simply remind. We observe, document, and report.
